Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG)
The Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) is the governing body of PNGEITI that makes decisions on EITI implementation in Papua New Guinea. It consists of three (3) constituents that ensures adequate representation and decision-making. The constituents are;
- Government
- Industry/Companies
- Civil Society Organizations
This balanced structure makes PNGEITI unique. Everyone has a voice at the table—Government, Companies, and CSO’s. The MSG ensures all perspectives are considered when deciding how to improve transparency in the extractive sector.
